What Curve Does Cale Makar Use?
Cale Makar uses a P88 curve, which is a traditional shaped stick curve, it is a quite popular option for defensemen. It is a great stick curve that is good for low slap shots, puck control, backhand passing, and catching hard passes.
The P88 curve begins opening its face in the middle ever so slightly, this slight open face remains constant until the end of the toe. This curve is smaller than the popular P28 and the P92, it begins curving just before the middle of the blade and continues to the toe of the blade. The toe shape is different than other blades too, it is still round but it definitely has more of a flat top.

What Flex Stick Does Cale Makar Use?
Cale Makar answered this question himself in a YouTube video by the NHL, he said he uses a 95-stick flex but its cut down, so it is more like a 100 flex.
I use a 95 flex, I like a pretty stiff stick. I still cut it down after that too. – Cale Makar
What Color Stick Tape Does Makar Use?
Cale Makar uses white hockey tape on his stick blade, and he also uses white tape on his stick knob. He tapes it completely around the toe of the blade, and it starts just up from the heel of the blade.
